It’s the feeling of sitting around a table, a Saturday afternoon with nowhere to be but there, soaking up the warmth of your friends. Nothing to do but sink into the laughter and the sparkle of their eyes as you joke and smile and just deeply devour the moment. “A table for four” was originally titled in Spanish - “una mesa para cuatro personas” I wanted to do this to also reference the feeling of sharing a new place with the people you’re travelling with. We often fumble through foreign speaking countries, holding on closely to those few phrases we know will take us from dawn to dusk. "Una mesa para cuatro personas being one of those phrases in Spain" - It means a table for four and reminds me of the excitement of visiting a new restaurant in a new place with a table of beautiful friends. Long days in the sun, tables full of friends in new places or familiar ones… nothing quite beats a table for four with your dearest loves.
