Feeling Fruitful is a piece inspired by the unknown of what lies ahead in travel. You are not yet sure what wonders you will encounter but you know that travel in all of its intricacies will feel inspiring and uplifting. Often some of our fondest holiday moments are the small ones we could never conceptualise pre-trip yet it's all these micro moments that add up to create the feeling of new experience. This particular piece is inspired by being in a coastal Spanish town with my beautiful friend. She is a photographer and we needed some fruit as "props" for a photoshoot. We set out on foot to find a fruit shop and after a hot walk in the sunshine we found a sweet little fruit shop nested high into the hill of the town. It was like a shady oasis and so we lingered a little while after selecting our fruit. One of my favourite memories from that trip became a brief encounter I had at the register, learning to speak a few Spanish phrases from the shop keepers. A Beautiful interaction that filled my cup. This piece is about those kind of moments, the ones that have us feeling fruitful and just purely happy. Small but fruitful.
