"When The Street Lights Come On"
This piece is about coming home to yourself. We all have things we are striving for, busy lives, responsibilities and a sense of balance we are aiming for. This piece was a reminder to myself to, amidst the wonderful chaos that is life, to take the time to "come home". To return to the person you are now, and have always been, that deeper part of your personality and your self that feels like home. Its a grounding practise that feels incredibly wholesome, but sometimes we just a need a reminder to pause & remember that part of our selves.
Hand painted, blocked in continuous line original, acrylic on 300gsm, deckle edge, Cold Pressed Paper.
Float framed in Tasmanian Oak.
