The story:

"Bold in calm"

This piece was inspired by my mother. I was recently asked in an interview; what type of women inspire you? My brain was quick to drown out anyone else but my mother, which was a beautiful moment. She has always led by example and lived her life with such courage. She never settled for a life that was anything less than what she wanted. She follows her passions and her heart in all areas of her life and walks through with such a bold sense of calm. To me she truly represents a woman who knows what she wants and this piece is inspired by her and all of the incredible women in my life with a bold spirit.

Hand painted original, acrylic on 300gsm, deckle edge, Cold Pressed Paper.

Float framed in Tasmanian Oak.
